A record number of clients have been served at the Seva Food Bank over the past few weeks – we now regularly get 40+ families per shift. So for the first time, we will be open between Christmas and New Years – this Wednesday December 28th from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. However, because of the holiday closures, we won’t be receiving our usual food delivery for this Wednesday’s shift. So we need your help.
We’re running low on (or are completely out of) several items that we’re hoping you can assist us with:
• Fresh vegetables (onions, potatoes, peppers, tomatoes, carrots, etc)
• Fresh fruit (bananas, apples, oranges, etc)
• Fresh milk
• Cereal boxes
• Coffee (instant and ground) and Hot Chocolate
We will be at the food bank on Wednesday by 5:30 pm so please try to drop off any donations before the clients arrive. Also, if possible, please let us know in advance (email firstname.lastname@example.org) if and how can you help out so we don’t end up buying items that will be donated.
Thanks in advance!
