The Seva Food Bank services clients who live in the L5B and L5C postal code. If you are in Mississauga and live outside these postal codes, please visit The Mississauga Food Bank’s area map to determine which food bank can provide you with food.
1) Existing Client from The Mississauga Food Bank
When you visit the Seva Food Bank for the first time, your file will have already been transferred over from The Mississauga Food Bank. We will be confirming the information provided and issuing you a Seva Food Bank client card.
2) New Client
Every first time user undergoes a needs and eligibility assessment where client status is determined. This happens while their food order is being prepared. A volunteer of the Seva Food Bank will ask to see proof of residency in Mississauga, proof of the family or individual’s monthly income and monthly housing expenses, and identification including birth certificates for children.
