Healthy Recipes:

Our volunteer chefs make a healthy recipe for every client shift using a feature vegetable of the month as their main ingredient. Clients receive a yummy bowl of this healthy and low budget recipe to taste. Before clients leave they are given a recipe card with cooking directions.

Nutrition Workshops & Shop with a Dietician!:

Our workshops are facilitated by a Registered Dietician from Four Corners who teaches our clients about nutrition and better health through cooking demonstrations and presentations.
NEW: The Dietician will also accompany clients while they do their shopping to assist with choosing healthy items.

Pop-Up Balcony Gardening:

Want to grow plants but don’t have room for a backyard garden? Our workshops will cover the techniques and challenges specific to gardening in containers. Pots, soil and seeds will be provided. We are also planning a field trip to the Malton Community Garden!

Youth Art Expression:

This program will allow youth (children & teens) to express themselves through art. We do exciting new art projects each month, and this program will be offered every Monday.

Client Appreciation BBQ:

Every Summer, we plan a special event to show an appreciation for the clients we are lucky to serve!

Health Workshops:

Our health workshops are an opportunity for community members to connect with a Registered Nurse from Four Corners, in regards to concerns about health and wellness.

Dental Clinic:

Dental hygienists from the Canadian Academy of Dental Hygiene provide free dental screenings to individuals and families and offer referrals for cost-effective treatment. Remember-regular and early dental care is important to maintain dental and overall health.

Tax Clinic:

Every tax season, Seva Food Bank connects with tax agencies from the community who assist our clients with free tax services. Accountants from the Certified General Accountants of Ontario prepare tax returns in a highly confidential setting. We start booking appointments in the month of February.

Please contact our programs coordinator Sabina Husain at to book your appointment.
