Dear volunteers and supporters!
Over the past two months Seva Food Bank has seen a drastic increase in the number of clients coming through their doors. New clients are registered weekly, and as the Holiday season approaches this trend will only continue. We face the unfortunately reality that poverty is continuing to grow in our communities. It is our volunteers who make a direct impact in feeding those in need, half of which are young childern. As our client base continues to grow so does our needs for volunteers.
Our next information session date has been set for Saturday November 5th, 2011 from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm. If you are interested in volunteering with us, we encourage you to sign up for our information session at the link below. At the session you’ll learn all about the food bank and what it takes to volunteer.
