Congratulations to our Volunteers of the Month!
Winter is the time for comfort, for good food and warmth, for the touch of a friendly hand and for a talk beside the fire. Our fantastic volunteers surely felt the cold during the month of November. A big thank you to all of those who participated in the Guru Nanak Radiothon as well as the Annual Food Drive! Undoubtedly, teamwork one of many core values we instill at Seva and this month’s events exemplified excellent teamwork and selfless service. On that note, we would like to thank our volunteer of the month for being the team player that she is! Sukhmani has demonstrated excellent teamwork through her engagement with volunteers and clients. Her leadership as a team captain as well as her participation in the Guru Nanak Food Drive Committee have demonstrated her hard work and commitment to the Seva team. Sukhmani’s charisma and extroverted personality make it difficult for her to go unnoticed! We are so grateful for her consistent optimism and positive attitude. Congratulations Sukhmani!
“When was the last time you felt internal peace, when was the last time you made someone’s day? For me it was the moment I stepped into SEVA, it gives you a sense of accomplishment and peace that only being selfless can provide. I am blessed to be a part of a community that can make your soul smile” – Sukhmani
